Entry to the exhibition is free. Please be aware that the signs in the exhibition are only available in Dutch. To get the most out of the exhibition it is recommended to use the 2Discover audiotour. The costs for the 2Discover audiotour in foreign languages are € 4,50 per person.


Are you in a group? No problem! The Afsluitdijk Wadden Centre is also designed to accommodate group visits. To make a group booking, please (bookings can also be made after hours).

Opening times

The exhibition can be visited from:
10:00 – 18:00

After 18:00, the exhibition is only open to pre-booked groups.

The ‘SKOM eten en drinken’ restaurant

Monday till sunday:

Open from 10.00 – 21.00, different closing hours

The interactive centre and the ‘SKOM eten & drinken’ restaurant are freely accessible to visitors who need a wheelchair, to people with disabilities and to prams and pushers. There are toilet facilities adjusted for people with disabilities and the ladies toilet has a baby change table. The carpark includes disabled parking spaces. A wheelchair is also available for loan.
Blind-dogs are welcome in their formal harness in the Afsluitdijk Wadden Centre. Pets are not allowed.


Water depth at the jetty is -2.90m N.A.P. However, please note that we do not guarantee water depths and there is no defined water way access. Depths are also subject to wind forces and wind directions which are very much subject to significant fluctuations in these regions.
The jetty is only to be used during the day, overnight moorings are not permitted.
