Are you in search off an unique and suprising place for your (business) meeting? Then Afsluitdijk Wadden Center is the place to be! With the ‘Lely room’, ‘Lorentz room’ and ‘Stevin room’, we have a meeting room suitable for every occassion. Our meeting rooms are provided with a screen with USB connection. Meeting done? Do not forget to take place in our restaurant or skylounge for some drinks while enjoying the stunning view over the IJsselmeer. The perfect place to end an inspiring day in style!

Meeting rooms

There are 3 meeting rooms in the Afsluitdijk Wadden Center, each with it’s own features and capacity. It is possible to prepare The ‘Lely room’ for 12 – 18 persons. The ‘Lorentz and Stevin room’ can be prepared for 24 to 30 persons. Combined togheter, the rooms can be prepared for 32 to 60 persons. The capacity depends on the desired setup. Our meeting rooms are provided with a screen with USB-connection and are the perfect location for your (business) meeting or presentation.

Meeting packages

We can offer you the following meeting packages for our meeting rooms:

4-hour meeting package à € 17,50 per person
Welcome with Frisian treat ‘oranjekoek’
Unlimited coffee, tea and mineral water
Fruit
Excluding rental of the meeting room

 

8-hour meeting package à € 37,50 per person
Welcome with Frisian treat ‘oranjekoek’
Unlimited coffee, tea and mineral water fruit
Lunch in restaurant Skom
excluding rental of the meeting room

Skylounge

Meeting done? Take some time to enjoy of the beautiful place where you are in our Skylounge. The Skylounge provides you with a breath taking view over the IJsselmeer. It is also possible to enjoy some drinks and bites here to end the day in style. We therefore can offer you the following drink & bites package.

Activities

Would you like to leave the meeting room between meetings for an active break or teambuilding activity? Then choose an activity that suits your group! We have a broad range of activities to choose from, ranging from a guided tour through our Exposition to an active sailing trip over the IJsselmeer! Curious? Read our assortmentof activities below.

Sailing trip with Poolster Charters
Go on an adventure on the IJsselmeer with Poolster Charters. When you are thinking that you can sit down and relax during the sailing trip, then think again. Participants of this sailing trip will be asked to help with the sailing. Do your outmost best and get to be chosen sailer of the day! The duration of the sailing trip is flexible. Please contact our sales department for the costs.

 

Boat trip with Regina Andrea
Do you prefer a relaxing boat trip over the IJsselmeer? Then step on board of the ‘Regina Andrea’. During this trip, the hostess will tell you everything you need to know about the IJsselmeer. It is also possible to extend the boat trip with a welcome, lunch or dinner on board. The duration of the boat trip is flexible. Please contact our sales department for the costs.

 

Lecture in the meeting room
We can organise different lectures for your group.

– Reading about the Fish Migration River given by the Dutch Wadden Association
– Reading about the current and future construction activities at the Afsluitdijk, given by De Nieuwe Afsluitdijk
– Reading about Blue Energy, given by Redstack
