A day out with the whole family? The Afsluitdijk Wadden Center is suitable for visitors of all ages! While older children can enjoy interactive games, the youngest visitors can have fun with the Bobby Fish scavenger hunt or at the large drawing table. In addition to all the educational activities, there is plenty of space to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views.

The experience center is open every Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Admission to the experience center is €4.00 for children aged 4 to 11 and €6.50 for visitors aged 12 and older. Children aged 3 and under are admitted free of charge.
Bobby Fish Treasure Hunt
For the youngest visitors, a free Bobby Fish hunt is available at the reception. Bobby Fish is hidden at various locations throughout the experience center. Can you find them all? A fun or tasty surprise awaits you at the reception. In addition to the scavenger hunt, a drawing table is available for children in the experience center.
The drawing table
Once the children have found all the Bobby Fish and want to explore the experience center again, there is a large drawing table where they can color various sea animals. These drawings then “come to life” in the magical aquarium. Curious to see how it works?
Interactive games
The Afsluitdijk Wadden Center’s experience center features a variety of interactive games for all ages. Take a VR tour over the Afsluitdijk and the future Fish Migration River, play the “swim walk” game following a salmon or eel on its journey, or explore one of the special game stations.
Children’s party ‘Bobby Fish party’
Did you know that you can also organize your children’s party at the Afsluitdijk Wadden Center? During the “Bobby Fish party,” the birthday boy or girl and all their friends go in search of the Bobby Fish in our experience center. Afterwards, the little detectives are treated to delicious fries with a snack of their choice!
