A few kilometers off the Frisian coast lie the famous Kornwerderzand casemates on the Afsluitdijk. It is the only place in Europe where the German Blitzkrieg came to a standstill in May 1940. Just 225 Dutch soldiers managed to hold back some 17,000 Germans. A story to be proud of. Combine a visit to the Casemates with a visit to the Afsluitdijk Wadden Center.
The price of the Kornwerderzand package is €43.25 for adults and €34.75 for children aged 4 to 11 years. Per group of 12 people, there is an additional charge of €23.50 for the guided tour*
