Step into a world of water, wind and history! Starting from the Afsluitdijk Wadden Centre, you’ll set off on a walk through Kornwerderzand. Walk across the footbridge towards the Kazemattenmuseum and enjoy breathtaking views along the way of the imposing locks, the IJsselmeer and the Wadden Sea, Windpark Fryslân and, last but not least, the globally unique fish migration river currently under construction. Our guide will take you on a 1.5-hour walk full of stories about nature, culture and history. A unique experience for anyone who loves impressive views and fascinating stories. The walk is available on request. The package lasts approximately 4.5 hours in total.
The price of the package is € 32.50 per person. The price of the walk is € 175.00 per group of up to 20 people.
Your day will unfold as follows:
- Welcome with coffee or tea and Fryske oranjekoek at the Afsluitdijk Wadden Centre
- 1.5-hour walk along the Afsluitdijk and the Fish Migration River
- Lunch at Restaurant Skom (Afsluitdijk Wadden Centre): 2x sandwiches with assorted fillings, soup of the day and a glass of orange juice
- Visit to the experience centre at your leisure
